Finance Officer / Book Keeper for a Non for Profit Organisation. in ASHCROFT, New South Wales

Share Care is a non-for-profit organisation established in 1982. As an organisation, we provide a wide range of support and respite services to children and young people with a disability in the Liverpool, Bankstown and Fairfield areas.
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer / Book Keeper to oversee all accounting aspects of the organisation. This is a full time position – Monday to Friday. The position reports directly, and works closely with, the CEO.
The Finance Officer/ Book Keeper role entails all facets of payroll management for a Non for profit sector that is growing as well as adaptability for ventures that we may encounter. In addition we will require one to take control & ownership of the management accounting as well as the financial management of the daily & monthly reports.
Government acquittal forms to complete & submit as well as maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and following through with the auditors as and when required.
We are currently implementing SAGE software of which experience in this field is an advantage, though good system knowledge of MYOB, Quicken etc will still be suitable as training will be provided in SAGE.
Minimum 3 years payroll experience plus able to work in an autonomous setting and being well rounded in book keeping.
